Flutter and Other Experiments

Hi there! 👋 Thanks for checking out this page.

👨‍💻 Who I am

I'm Alberto, a Software Engineer from Italy, with a great passion for code and Open Source. I've always had a passion for writing articles to share my knowledge with others, and in Hashnode I've found the perfect platform to focus only on my content and community without having to worry about the rest.

My background

I started to get interested in computer science thanks to a friend who made me participate in a meeting of the local Linux User Group and from there I was kidnapped by this world of knowledge sharing, code and community. So I realized that my life was made for writing code and, after graduating in mathematics, or choosing to major in computer science and become a software engineer.

My spare time

In my free time I dedicate myself to many side projects, which I often do not complete, with the main purpose of testing new technologies or (often absurd) ideas that I have. Among all these, however, I completed:

  • Wassword - Wonderful Password Generator: With Wassword you can easily generate complex passwords and use them for your online accounts. Choose length and chars to be used and generate your passwords safely
  • COVID-19 Tracker ITA: Data on the emergency of COVID-19 in Italy made available from the Department of Civil Protection and updated daily
  • Telegram2Notion Quarkus: Quarkus application to save messages sent to a Telegram bot in a Notion database

Social

You can find me on almost all social networks with my nickname @polilluminato so feel free to reach out or connect via Twitter, Github, LinkedIn, Mastodon

🙏 Thank You
